We have fostered for 3 different rescue organizations over the last 8 years and I can say without a doubt that Florida Urgent Rescue is run by some of the kindest and most dedicated people I have ever met. Mike and Susan work around the clock with different shelters in surrounding areas. Jana and Valerie work tirelessly with adopters and fosters to find the perfect matches for everyone. This rescue really does mean it when they say “urgent” is their middle name. I have been lucky enough to foster many dogs over the last 3 years with FUR, and have even adopted two of my fosters. I can’t say enough good things about this organization!

Pit Sisters truly does always put the dogs first. When I began fostering for them 2.5 years ago, I quickly realized that I had found my place and my purpose in the world. So far, Pit Sisters has given us the opportunity to foster almost 100 dogs! From puppies, mama dogs, dog fighting cases, hoarding cases, mangy dogs, emaciated dogs, you name it. Jen's passion and dedication to changing the perception of the Pit Bull breed is unwavering. I am so lucky to be a part of this wonderful organization.
