From the moment I met Jen I knew she was all about the dogs. She is 100% dedicated to taking care of and working to adopt out even the neediest dogs she saves. She knows every dog by name, knows who and what they would be best for and around, and works every waking minute to take care of and advocate for the dogs she works with and potential dogs she could possibly help. My favorite thing about her is that she doesn’t just stop with the dogs. She helps people, too. She has begun work in the correctional facilities to allow inmates to train her dogs, which has saved the people and the dogs, making the people more compassionate and the dogs more adoptable. She most recently partnered with me in my school to bring more awareness about dogs to the youth through an education and training curriculum we are developing together. I have volunteered in her Doc Tony center and those dogs are very well taken care of and as spoiled and loved as they possibly can be. After just one day of volunteering, I chose to bring one of the dogs (Ducati) home to foster, then adopted him a week later because he’s amazing and fits right into our family. She is always there for her dogs and the people to whom she adopts her dogs. She always want to do more and grow-she has a solid business model and has grown over the years to help so many dogs. I could go on and on...she and her “crew” have inspired me in so many ways.
