I began fostering for Pit Sisters in October 2017, it wasn't long after that I started volunteering at the Doc Tony TAILS Center. Pit Sisters gives a voice to those that cannot defend themselves and helps to save those that were otherwise given up on. I am currently on my fourth foster and can't imagine NOT opening my home to some of these dogs, it means so much to each pup that I bring in - to love them back to life and show them that this world is not such a big, scary, or terrible place. As for my time at the TAILS center, I spend my weekends giving love to dogs that were given up on at other shelters, that almost lost their lives simply because they existed. That's why Pit Sisters does the work that it does, and that is why I am proud to consider myself a part of this organization.
