Review for The Corona Golden ELite Track Club, Norco, CA, USA
The Corona Golden Elite Track Club), founded by Coach Sonja and Joel after the death of their dear friend and coach Benjamin (Bennie Brown of UCLA) Bennie coach Sonja in the 800 Meters through 1992. Although she was injured during the Olympic Trials she gave it her all at the Trials on the way to Spain. After the birth of her first child Sonja contact Bennie to go back into training only to find out that he was recently in an accident on the way to pick up his son Cameron from day care. Sonja and Joel Traveled to San Francisco where their close friend was laid to rest in a Paradise filled with green rolling hills and Butterflies. The coaching Tourch was then passed on to Sonja and Joel former collegic Track Athletes and Parents with the most important job to teach children character-building life lessons through sports and Academic. Done right, youth sports teaches children from grade school through high school incomparable lessons in leadership, handling adversity, teamwork, persistence and compassion. Corona Golden Elite Track and Field is in it’s 9th year as Corona’s development Track and Field youth sports running development and agility training program.
