Review for Animal Legal Defense Fund, Cotati, CA, USA
As the Investigations Director and Executive Director for the United States Equine Rescue League, Inc., I have had the pleasure of working with the attorneys of the Animal Legal Defense Fund on a variety of cases over the past 2 years. Their dedication and expertise in the area of animal law is unsurpassed, and the assistance that they have given to the horses in our program has been crucial. There are horses today that no longer have to fear where their next meal is coming from, or if they will have shelter and love in their life, because of the work that ALDF does. Our first case with ALDF representing the horses was that of ALDF vs. Keating, where 7 horses were found starving to death, 3 of them foals, and two of them pregnant. USERL had been investigating Keating for over 6 years, and with the help of ALDF we were finally able to end the horses suffering. All the horses from that case are now in loving, happy homes.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Change the life of so many neglected and abused animals, as well as lobby for stronger cruelty laws.
