Review for Beacon House Association of San Pedro, San Pedro, CA, USA
The Beacon House Association of San Pedro is a treatment facility for men who are suffering from alcohol and drug addiction. I know this because I am one of those men who suffers from this disease and is a current resident of this program. I found my way here by another set of circumstances which led me to a friend dropping me off,them being tired of me sleeping on their couch! As funny as this might sound it is a way of life that I had been involved in for a number of years. You see, I take advantage of people around me. Not only that I go in and out of prison,abandon my kids,involved with gangs. That was me then,this is me now-responsible person in the community,reunification with my kids,chasing a career in welding,and most important to me is being a good example to those who are around me. All this I owe to the Beacon House for providing me with the safe environment necessary for one who suffers from a disease to get the help they need.Thank You.
