Review for America's Grow-a-Row, Pittstown, NJ, USA
For the past five years I've led a team, during MVP day at Mars/Wrigley office in HKT, to volunteer at Americas Grow A Row. Everyone on the team eagerly awaits the day to go into the fields to pick corn, potatoes or glean apples. With each experience they learn more about food deserts and the number of school age children who go to bed hungry every night.
At the conclusion of the day AGAR shares number of pounds we harvested, conversion of the number of meals and how many people will be fed through our efforts. Everyone agrees the time spent together, working side by side in the field, and learning the positive impact of our efforts makes the AGAR MVP day something to look forward to year over year.

Review for America's Grow-a-Row, Pittstown, NJ, USA
Spent the day harvesting corn with fellow co-workers during our MVP day at Mars Chocolate. For many associates it was their first time to America's Grow a Row and they really appreciated the opportunity to volunteer at a non profit with a mission is to serve families within NJ facing food insecurity. Learning the history and background behind AGAR is a great way to start the day and it gives you a purpose behind working in the field. I love working directly with the crops, you can really appreciate the hard work our farmers do everyday to provide food for our families. A great team building opportunity for co-workers scout troops and families.
