Review for Cambodian Children's Fund, Santa Monica, CA, USA
If you haven’t yet watched any of the YouTube videos about CCF’s founder Scott Neeson, then I highly recommend you at least watch the one called “Cambodia’s Hollywood Dad”. Scott gave up Hollywood to start this organization and I’ve done a Facebook fundraiser for them. Yeah, I know there are good charities here in our country but remember these children are the poorest of the poor. He’s turned their lives around from climbing all over a smoking, stinking garbage dump to getting so many of these kids educated, fed, and given health care. We take for granted what we have here and forget that we are unbelievably privileged. He’s truly one in many, many millions.
Review for Cambodian Children's Fund, Santa Monica, CA, USA
Twice now I’ve been honored to meet the annual group of kids from Cambodia who have earned the trip to the US for Tony Robbins Global Youth Summit in San Diego.
These kids have worked incredibly hard to earn the right to attend. They are so intelligent and so appreciative of everything CCF has done for them in Cambodia. CCF is changing their lives and they have the education, intelligence, drive, and commitment to return home to Cambodia and become pillars of their neighborhoods and do their part to help change the lives of others and help make their communities better.
CCF is giving them the chance to improve their futures and also the futures of those around them. It’s very exciting!
But CCF does so much more than just this group of teenagers. They have a school in Cambodia with so many students and they provide an education for these children who would not have the opportunity of a good education if it wasn’t for CCF.
I learned a lot about CCF and it’s founder Scott Newsom, by watching some videos on YouTube. You should watch too and learn about how wonderful this organization really is! You’ll understand why I’m so excited.
