Recently, I had the opportunity to travel to Nepal as a high school volunteer for HCC. Here I saw just how incredible the work HCC is doing to transform the lives of children who are less fortunate. HCC not only gives children, whose families are no longer able to support them or have abandoned them, a top of the line education but also includes them in the nurturing HCC family which mentors them to become successful individuals in the future. On my visit, I was able to see how the children who had grown up through HCC's program had become inspiring leaders who were making an immense positive impact on their community. Joining HCC has truly given me a whole new perspective and shown me what it means to make a difference in the world.
