So lucky to have learned about them and become a volunteer! They taught me how to use the video gear to successfully shoot all kinds of events. And then they taught me editing, which vastly improved what and how I shot events. It's been fun to learn about the gear and the process, but also very rewarding to see what I shoot go out to the wider community via the station channel and their You tube channel as well. It's a wonderful feeling to have the training under my belt that allows me to then help out other small organizations in town that don't have any PR expertise or PR staff, but want to get out info about their orgs mission or event. I've learned so much about my town because of AF! They are so plugged into all kinds of things going on in town and always trying to get it covered. The staff is incredibly generous with their expertise, time and patience. Stellar organization.
