I had the pleasure of volunteering for CCF for three months, over that period I was welcomed as member of the CCF team and I was given a unique insight into the amazing work they do. I was particularly pleased to see that the volunteer roles steer away from 'voluntourism', and instead focus on capacity building for local staff.
Seeing the impact CCF has on the communities in Steung Meanchey is almost unbelievable. The opportunities that CCF provides are truly life changing, and it is inspiring to be involved. It is exciting to meet students at CCF, knowing that they will go on to do amazing things in life. By investing in CCF, either through volunteering or becoming a donor, you are helping to build a sustainable model that will have a lasting positive impact.
I have loved being a part of CCF and it is an experience I will carry me in life.
