To work with dogs as well as offenders in prison who are learning a better way of being (through positive reinforcement, which affects not only the dogs, but also their personal relationships and prepares them for life outside, is a win-win for all. Add to that the fact that those who ultimately receive the dogs as service dogs will have their lives so enriched makes volunteering with TLCAD an exemplary experience. Win-win-win. It doesn't get any better than that!
