I rescued 2 dogs from going to shelters. Nala was healthy but needed more vaccines and needed to be spayed. Matilda was in bad shape. I recently found her abandoned, chained, on concrete. No water. No shelter. I instantly brought her home. I thought she may have a hernia but I am here as a humanitarian aid volunteer and couldn't afford the vet fees. I was referred to Defensa Rincon. They instantly replied to my email and said they would raise any amount of funds needed for emergency surgery for Mattie. And they would help me with vaccines and spayed for both puppies. Within 24 hrs I had funding, a vet appt and today they were vaccinated and spayed. Both are home and resting now. It's all thanks to this organization.
