Review for Guardian Angels For Soldier's Pet, Gatesville, TX, USA

Rating: 1 stars

I am very disappointed in this group. My Sister called them to see if they could help her while she is deployed and was turned away. I can not keep her cat if I could I would. She is serving and has served for many years and is upset she will have to give him away. She is in the San Diego area and is getting ready to go to Iraq sadly she won't have her jack to come back to. So postive feed back I have NONE! Sad, BB

BB have sent you a private message requesting more details as to the situation. As with any nonprofit organization with limited resources we may not be able to help everyone, but we just don't turn our military service members away, but do explain to them as to why we may not be able to assist in their specific situation (no foster home available or time constraints in locating and placing a specific pet into a specific foster home. If we are unable to assist we do provide suggetions as to other organizations with similitar foster home programs that may be able to assist them. Please contact me so I may ask additional questions in regards to this situation. Respectfully, Linda Spurlin-Dominik, Founder/National President, Guardian Angels for Soldier's Pet.

As the poster did not or would not provide us with specifics such as the pet owner's name and/or the pet or pets involved names, we are unable to confirm that what has been posted actually happened, as mentioned in the July 12th comment, what has been posted is not how our process works or is handled. The only thing we could determine was this supposedly happened to a military service member located in CA, whereas the FH coordinator is an experienced coordinator who has been with our organization since 2006 and coordinating FH home placements in CA since Sept 2009. Last communication with the poster was was going to CA to pick up the pet and bring back home to care for til her sister returned from the deployment.
