Review for FIV Cat Rescue, Fort Bragg, CA, USA
When I was helping a friend re-home an FIV+ cat she had rescued from a shelter, Frankie was a terrific ally, giving me lists of potential Sanctuaries and FIV info. She doesn't take in FIV+ cats anymore but the services she does provide are helpful and definitely given with passion for her work.
Thank you or your kind words. I'm glad we were able to help you and your friend locate FIV rescues/sanctuaries.

You can feel Frankie's passion for helping FIV+ cats even through the phone and emails!
Frankie was super helpful when I was helping out a fellow cat-lover with trying to re-home an FIV+ cat. Frankie emailed me with FIV info that we could disseminate to potential new owners, such as the misconceptions people have about FIV+ cats. Frankie also emailed me a list of rescues and other organizations who take FIV+ cats or can help in other ways.
As networking usually goes, one contact led to another, such as her list including snapcats, who in turn referred me to ResQCats, who miraculously provide AIRPLANE transport services to a no-kill sanctuary in Santa Barbara who takes FIV+ cats.
We ended up finding a home for the FIV+ cat in town, through contacts my fellow catlover had made, but nevertheless, Frankie was SUPER helpful.
I compiled Frankie's San Diego-related info into a Cat Placement Resources list that I have posted on Nextdoor.com, which my neighbors have referred to and are very thankful for.
Thank you for your comments. I'm glad we were able to assist you in getting this cat a home. Thank you for sharing the FIV facts and resources we provided which helps to stop the spread of myth-information about FIV.
