As an animal advocate I am deeply concerned with the ratio of administrative salaries and benefits to the overall budget. I was sadly surprised with the the % reported online of over 50% of their budget as administrative salaries and benefits. I admit many animals are helped, but have noted selected animals are pulled from their inventory for adoption by “friends” rather than available to the public. Perhaps as part of their transparency as a nonprofit organization they need to address this issue by publishing the information.
