Before you sign up to volunteer at this organization, please do your homework. If you aren't part of a dog therapy team then there is nothing of substance for you to do. There's only 4 or 5 dogs there and you never get to do anything with them. They said they were children friendly so I had my 13 year sign up as well and there is absolutely nothing for her to do. The place is beautiful and welk kept but don't be deceived by the looks- no one that I spoke to there was warm and friendly. I was really excited about volunteering there so maybe I will try back one day but for now, I think I was nothing more than $35 in their pocket. Please look around and find some place that really needs you, this place does not.
