For 27 years, the National Krao Association in the Americas, Inc. has provided assistance to the Krao/Kru Communities in America and Liberia, West Africa. The organization has provided medical equipment, medical supplies, medicines, and beddigns to the Redemption Hospital in the Borough of Kru Town, Liberia. In addition, the organization has provided scholarships to students to attend hight school and the University of Liberia. Currently, the organization, under the auspices of its foundation, The Krao Healthcare Foundation, Inc. is planning a medical mission to rural Southeastern Liberia in March 2019 (March 10-24,2019) - to provide health education and awareness including screening for diabetes, hypertension, prostrate cancer and breast cancer to residents of Grand Kru and Sinoe Counties, including residents of the Borough of Kru Town.
