Review for Spay-Neuter Assistance Program, Inc., Houston, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I really appreciate the work they do with the mobile unit that provides free services to low income households. If it wasn't for SNAP, I wouldn't have been able to get my dog neutered. He's a large dog (which is more expensive to do) and was starting to get aggressive. Being able to use SNAP kept us from having to get rid of our dog, because the neutering totally took that aggressiveness away. My daughter loves that dog like crazy, and would have been heartbroken if we'd have had to give him up for his behavior. So now we have a happy dog!! And they took excellent care of him, and the surgery was top notch. I don't think anyone could have done better!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

going to the mobile clinic to get my dog neutered.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

somehow find them a lot more money so they could help more people who can't afford to get their animal neutered.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

that they are the only place to get a low cost, quality neutering job done.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

staff that signs people in, and veterinary assistants that get people's animals back to them after the surgery is done.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

help so much with the over-abundance of kittens and puppies born every day when people can't afford to get their animal neutered and just toss it out instead.

Ways to make it better...

I had known a little more about the process before getting signed in, before I went there. But I read that they have recently changed the process to make it easier for everyone.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

lack of money to keep going and expanding.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

One time

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
