We submitted our application, and within a week had received a response and had scheduled the home visit. The organization very quickly connected us to the dog's foster family, and within a few days the dog was home with us. The people we met through the organization were very friendly. We actually picked up the dog from an adoption event, and all the volunteers that day were helpful and enthusiastic. We met a family that came to the adoption event just to offer support, along with their own lab.
