Review for International Snow Leopard Trust, Seattle, WA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

International Snow Leopard Trust does amazing work. I was already a supporter but at the height of the pandemic, when I was isolating in southern Seattle, they put on a virtual fundrasing event that really cemented my good opinion of them. It was so good. Not super high-tech but fascinating. I watch a bunch of the talks including researchers huddled in a tent somewhere near snowleopard country and reporting on their work. There were some great video reports about their painstaking work in the field tracking snow leopard populations. And the way they partner with local conservationsist and work with them to get local herding populations in Mongolia onside is fantastic. Many locals are now working to save cats they used to perceive as a threat. During that particular virtual event they even had some seesions geared to young people, which were both educational and fun. Their work is effective and important and I support them wholeheartedly.

Review for National Parks Conservation Association, Washington, DC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have been aware of the National Parks association for at least 30 years and I wholeheartedly endorse their mission and the work they do. NPCA is a wonderful organization dedicated to the preservation of one of our greatest national treasures. Our national parks and the wildlife they shelter are under more pressure than ever, one could even say under assault and in existential danger. The NPCA works in a non partisan way to communicate, educate, inspire, influence decision makers, and promote good stewardship of our protected lands. I would encourage everyone to support its work in any way they can to ensure that our parks in their entirety will be there for generations to come.
