Review for The Type 1 Diabetes Network, , , Australia

Rating: 5 stars

The T1DN provides a friendly and informative environment where people are encouraged to share information and discuss a wide variety of issues, ask questions, share experiences and talk about anything they wish to, relating to living with diabetes. Its a great place to turn to when I'm seeking advice, reassurance or a just place to vent! It has truely changed my life for the better and has had a tangible, positive impact on my health.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

... the way it has had a positive impact on my knowledge and confidence and therefore my health.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

like to see them receive more financial support to assist with the enourmous workload currently undertaken by volunteers.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The way it has positively impacted upon my health and the way it has helped me to better cope with living with Type 1.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Very well informed, polite and friendly.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Help thousands more people like me. It could run new programs aimed at supporting those of us struggling to cope with living with T1.

Ways to make it better...

I had more time to read through the thousands of posts on the Forum!

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

The need for volunteers to undertake the large amount of work involved in running the organisation.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2010

Role:  Client Served & I regularly participate in informative and friendly conversations that assist me to better cope with living with Type 1.
