I adopted a wonderful donkey named Poco from Longhopes Donkey Shelter. The adoption was the start of a wonderful relationship with Kathy Dean and the team at Longhopes. Not only are the donkeys well trained, well loved and ready for a forever home, the Longhopes group supports you in all you do with your donkey from answering questions to providing extra training (if needed).

Truly, Longhopes sets the standard for equine shelter facilities both in its physical appearance but also in the management, volunteer staff and the animals.
