I became familiar and a friend of Ray's after he invited my son Brian Kolfage Jr a triple amputee wounded warrior to Hawaii. Ray and his organization provided Brian the chance and opportunity to scuba dive and surf. Brian has always liked the ocean and Ray helped Brian to reconnect with it after his catastrophic injuries on 9 11 04.
