I found Hope Floats Healing & Wellness Center a few months after lossing my 24 year old son. There are not many community organizations that recognize and work in the grief space outside of Hospice programs. However, too many people lose loved ones suddenly and do not have the interaction with Hospice. Support while grieving is vital for healing, especially for families who suffered a traumatic loss.

Hope Float provides many different access points for grievers to connect. They have peer-to-peer support for adults, clinician facilitated support for children, healing and wellness group activities, they have an annual memory walk and gala and so much more.

The people who work and volunteer at Hope Floats are amazingly compassionate, caring and because Hope Floats was founded by grieving parents, as a parent, you immediately feel a connection and understanding.

Over the past few years the programs have continued to expand I feel that is a testament to the impact they have in supporting families. I am so grateful to be one of those families and to have found Hope Floats.
