Review for Tiny Handprints - The Jacob Hughes Williams Foundation, Nashville, TN, USA
I lost my 4.5 mo old daughter Ghayde (pronounced like Jade) to SIDS on 9.2.08 and after losing my mother a little over a year earlier I knew the devastation that followed. I wanted to be more prepared so I went online for support groups... and found Tiny Handprints. Stephanie and the rest of the team are AMAZING! They kept in touch with me during that first year, sending me little cards and books to help me journey through my grief... and read my rambling middle of the night e-mails. To be brutally honest, if it wasn't for Tiny Handprints, I don't know that I would be a stable individual today... they keep me grounded still and are always there when I need them!
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my soul and my life. I have seen the changes effected by Tiny Handprints in the lives of my family and friends, my support system locally.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
make it bigger and closer to me!!! I want to do more to help =)
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the fact that I was accepted and have made a life long friend in Stephanie. Everyone involved is doing this from the heart and you can see it and feel it in every word you read.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
I've actually not 'officially' met anyone from the organization... but I feel very close to several of the women and we're sisters for life.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
do sooo much more to raise awareness and raise even more money for research if not only to find a cause but maybe to find a way to see which babies may be higher risk at birth!
Ways to make it better...
if I was closer to the organization... I would love to personally meet all the wonderful people involved, esp those that helped me.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
is time, and man power. I'm just guessing here because I'm not directly involved. I know they do everything they can to raise awareness and money though.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About every month
When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
