My 12-year-old son Matthew has developmental delays and has been an Achieve Tahoe skiing participant for several years. We can’t speak highly enough about the quality of this program and the ways in which they have enriched his experience outdoors, not to mention the ways it has enriched us as a family by showing all of us that he can learn to ski and love it. The staff is so organized and very accommodating. We are constantly amazed at the professionalism and dedication of the volunteers who have worked with Matthew—they are so patient and tireless in their work with him! He loves going there, seeing Marina and all the instructors he has come to know and love. It’s such a welcoming environment and we are greeted with smiles and enthusiasm every single weekend. We are constantly recommending this program to all of our friends and would unequivocally recommend any family to check this program out—you will be delighted with the doors it opens for your child and your family!
