The SSP in biochemistry surpassed all my expectations. The academic directors and TAs worked tirelessly to provide the perfect mix of rigorous research and lectures, and created an environment that not only accepted, but encouraged, experimentation and failure. This combined with field trips to advanced labs and research facilities provided a comprehensive glimpse into the world of drug discovery. SSP not only affirmed my passion for science, but also allowed me to make some lifetime friendships.
