I have donated to, volunteered for, and adopted from Asheville Humane Society over the last 15 years. AHS has high-performing, top-quality staff at all levels. The animal care is outstanding. AHS has the highest possible non-profit ratings and the organization is excellent at fund-raising and stewardship of donations. AHS staff and employees hold themselves to the highest ethical standards. It is truly a remarkable organization dedicated to homeless animals and animals in the community whose owners need financial and behavioral assistance to keep their animals in their homes.
