Review for The Humane Society of the United States, Washington, DC, USA
HSUS has gotten a bad wrap from an organization called humanewatch.org, which is an affiliate of the Center for Consumer Watch. Take a look at this website to learn more about this supposed non-profit http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Center_for_Consumer_Freedom. Also, check their profile in Guidestar. They are not what they seem to be but they are swaying a lot of animal advocates by discrediting HSUS. HSUS does wonderful work with lobbying for better animal care practices. Since these practices are not convenient to big industry, a man by the name of Berman created CFF and humanewatch to distract the public from the real truth.
