Review for Multidisciplinary Association For Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), San Jose, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have inoperable stage 4 prostate cancer. MAPS has given me the hope that those of us living with terminal cancer have a voice of support for end of life experiences that can deepen our awareness of our living and dying. I am grateful for MAPS resource material, advocacy, and collaborative efforts in the area of research. For some of us cancer patients, the great healing has little to do with cancer itself. When it's the heart that needs to healing, MAPS is there to help point the way. I'm very appreciative for discovering MAPS at this point in my life.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

My personal experience involves accessing important resource material through MAPS, learning about various research projects, and being able to complete a survey pertinent to me and my life experience that MAPS brought to my attention.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would promote more material specific to end of life experiences for cancer patients.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Accessing resource material and updates regarding their important work.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

responsive to my emails.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

increase its advocacy work for those of us in need.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

current and antiquated laws that limit access to end of life resources for cancer patients.
