When it was time to go horse shopping I happened to come across Front Range Equine Rescue. One of their horses in assessment caught my eye. He had not been with them for long and needed a lot of care to restore his health. Every so often I checked on his progress as there was "just something" about him...
Months later I made contact with Front Range and got an update. Not long after that I was able to go visit and I have to admit I was already crazy about this horse even though I knew he had not been fully evaluated. Looking back now I am so happy to have waited for this diamond in the rough. I've had the absolute joy of working with a horse who had been in the wrong hands at a young age and now can teach him even more than all humans are not bad. Our bond is so strong and he's an avid learned (and teacher to me too). Thank you, thank you to Front Range for all they do for horses and those of us who love them.
