Review for Chicago French Bulldog Rescue Inc NFP, Chicago, IL, USA
from what I’ve noticed from watching their Facebook page and Instagram, they literally shame every previous owner in every new rescue post. I literally just recently saw a post complaining about how the long nails a new dog in rescue has. They took pics of before and after. Are you kidding me? They are nails. Trim them and don’t make a big deal about it! If you’re doing this for the “betterment of the dogs” you wouldn’t boast of even the tinyest things you do/have done for them. They say that an animal is in horrible shape but looks amazing after a week. They call many dogs “mill rescues” but the dogs are all seemingly already social which would point to some “stretching of the truth”. They seem to want the sympathy too boost their egos & donations, and yet post little to nothing on the multiple of thousands of dollars they pull in from their constant donation begging. Let me get this straight: the dogs are donated, their medical costs are donated, fosters donate their food and time and efforts, then this rescue charges a hefty fee to adopt the dog. Where does all this money go? Where is the transparency in where all these donations are going? The numbers that they are bringing in compared to the numbers that they are admitting to spending on medical care do not add up. DONATE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
