WPEA is working hard to not only promote the equestrian sport of Eventing in the Western PA region but also has started bringing the community together to help find ways to open up the sport to a wider range of participants, stressing finding ways to make equestrian opportunities accessible. It’s 100% volunteer operated and member-owned and also offers its members Free use Of 60+ acres of land for equestrian & camping activities in Armstrong County, PA.

My very first thoroughbred adoption has been made a beautiful, reassuring process. The ottb coming home to me has been so well cared for and truly given the love and attention he deserved after being rescued from a kill pen. Even after my adoption was approved, he has been ridden regularly to keep him in great health until I pick him up! This is above and beyond what I’ve seen any rescue provide!
