Review for Memory Matters Utah, St George, UT, USA
I’m the founder of this organization, so my rating is prejudiced in its favor. Covid-19 hit our organization really hard. We are successful because we have personal service and support with a knowledge of local resources. We had to close our group services in March. Our staff worked hard to provide Zoom support groups, email and telephone support. We created online activity kits that caregivers could get free on our website. www.memorymattersutah.org. I’m happy to announce that we are opening group services on a limited basis and rehiring our wonderful staff. I love Memory Matters.
Review for Memory Matters Utah, St George, UT, USA
Memory Matters Utah has made a difference in our rural area. We live in a farming community and have many retired people who live here. As these neighbors have aged and developed memory loss and dementia, Memory Matters has been there for us with in-home consultations, booklets, and educational presentations. It is hard to find help in rural areas such as our town, but we have been well supported and served by this organization.
They were started locally and they know the culture, the local resources, and volunteers who are willing to help that living nearby.
