Review for Multidisciplinary Association For Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), San Jose, CA, USA
MAPS first came into my life 6 or 7 years ago at Burning Man. They were involved in a camp named entheon village. Entheon village hosted a series of lectures with speakers from all over the world with different backgrounds. I had just read PIHKAL and was thrilled to know Dr. Alexander Shulgin was in attendance and giving a couple lectures. Dr. Shulgin and MAPS have taught me the value of a psychedelic experience and how to responsibly delve into the mind through psychedelic experience. MAPS is definitely holding the torch when it comes to researching and studying the myriad of positive uses and applications of psychedelic experience. Without organizations like MAPS so much potential could be lost by dogmatic and fearful thinking when it comes to furthering ourselves spiritually and mindfully. Thank You MAPS for demystifying entheogens and showing me how to responsibly and productively explore the mind.
