Review for Multidisciplinary Association For Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), San Jose, CA, USA
No organisation has helped me more than MAPS. I read about the use of psychedelics in psychotherapy and healing in the early 1960s but was unable to benefit from this promising treatment because clinical use and research was halted by the law. MAPS has been courageous in educating the public and funding research which is finally going forward after so many decades. As a sufferer of severe PDST due to serious injuries and their psychological repercussions I am grateful to MAPS and hopeful that they will succeed in "putting the MD back in MDMA".
