I look upon my time spent volunteering at Hearts that Purr as therapy... for me! This place is like a 5 star resort for elderly cats. I'm especially amazed at the excellent/professional medical care they receive which in turn allows the cats an extremely high quality of life, right to the end. I was a bit wary when I first visited as I had recently lost my own 2 cats to old age and illness. I wondered if I could enjoy spending time with Older Cats. These cats are so well kept and comfortable that our time together is spent in joy, petting and purring. I wish there were more places like Hearts that Purr and so glad I found them.
