My husband was isolated in a Mayo Clinic hospital room for over 40 days in the spring of 2015. He received intensive treatment for acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and I was able to be with him every day because of Gabriel House. Our home was almost two hours away, so commuting was not an option. Gabriel House gave me safe shelter, a full kitchen, laundry facilities, compassionate companionship, and easy access to the hospital -- all in an incredibly beautiful facility at an amazingly reasonable rate. How grateful I will always be to Gabriel House for welcoming me during a time of great personal crisis. It is an exceptional facility.
