My sister has diagnosed three different cancers within last couple years. her call month ago about her third cancer had absolutely terrified me- I was working in medical field 30 years and never had heard about cases like that. I red about SCC 10 years ago and I decide to contact them when last cancer happened. Karen was absolutely amazing to explain what we have to do and help me to set up private course of treatment (my sister do not speak English) A week ago, we both attended the 4 days long training and counseling program. It was excellent. It wasn’t easy for us and I assume it wasn’t easy for them- Karen, Rahla, and Richard worked with us 10 hours every day! It was incredible All of them are deeply knowledgeable, caring and VERY skilled.their self-value and PLAY program was fun and informative same time. Both my sister and I gained immeasurably. We were challenged a lot, but most important was how much both of us grew. As a support person I not just translated but learn a tone about my sister and myself. I learned how to listen her and how to help her stay in right path. we both know now-it is a long way ahead and I hope it help her to getting better soon!
