The mission and need this organization fulfills is beyond amazing! The kittens and cats that are given a home at the Independent Cat Society inspire so much love. In addition, its TNR (trap neuter return) program keeps safe, peaceful living for many cats within the community. As a volunteer for the past 16 months, I look forward for weekly visits as a room parent and assisting at education and adoption events within the community. My time with the cats at the Independent Cat Society is relaxing and rejuvenating after long weekdays of working. Plus, many of the free roaming the cats will greet you with enthusiasm and meows of appreciation as soon as you walk inside.
