We were out on a motorcycle ride on July 7, 2018 and had to detour route 6 and stopped in Albion to fuel up and started talking to a local resident and he asked where we were going and we said up to the boat gala on the lake and he said well stop by Black Pine Animal Sanctuary they have lions, tigers, bears, monkeys and other exotic animals. So we said why not and we were so Happy we did the zoo keepers were all so helpful and you could tell they really loved the animals so needless to say we never made it to the boat gala because we spent the afternoon at Black pine and I wouldn't have changed that for anything. We are planning another trip there but we are going to take our granddaughter and nephew the next time. Keep up the good work absolutely loved our visit.
