I became involved with The Volunteers for Veterans Foundation 8 years ago. I am not a veteran myself but wanted to become involved with an organization that is dedicated to assisting the men and women that have given it all for our freedom and the way of life we enjoy.
Volunteers for Veterans has allowed me work with many dedicated folks that collectively, we've been able to make a difference in so many lives. Volunteers for Veterans are passionate about assisting our veterans in ways that would otherwise go unanswered. Through the years this has come in many forms including housing, furniture, money for bills, transportation, entertainment; the list goes on and on. I am proud to be associated with an organization that has one mission: to assist in any way possible the men and women that have stood up for our country. "If you love your freedom - thank a Vet" rings true.
