Review for Multidisciplinary Association For Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), San Jose, CA, USA
MAPS is the leading and most dedicated organization in the field of psychedelic drugs. They are supporting, conducting and financing groundbreaking research that will help humankind in every possible way. My experience with them is only positive as I have talked to several members and they have always provided me with excellent data and helped explain numerous issues in this field. I know they are conducting a lot of research in Europe (because of legal issues back at the US) and I think they should branch out to (Continental) Europe even more! I personally also think that they should work more closely with established institutes that currently lack their viewpoint and establish research contacts with the 'opposition'.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I have seen their research data and protocols at scientific conferences and compared to the majority of researchers they are always of top quality and really well thought out. They are also passionate about their (also mine) cause.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Establish more research contacts with other researchers and to work more closely with NIDA, NIMH and DEA to show them they are fighting for the common good.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
They are passionate and great but also humble human beings.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Change a lot of peoples life's for the better!
Ways to make it better...
They had a better presence in Continental Europe (other than Switzerland).
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Getting enough money to do very very expensive research.
One thing I'd also say is that...
If I were rich I would work there for free.
