Stumbled upon this organization 3 years ago and was immediately drawn in by the startling facts about the world-wide lack of feminine hygiene products and the consequences which that lack causes in regard to the education of girls around the world. Girls need to be able to stay in school and reach their highest potential. What a waste of intellect if only the male 1/2 of the population receives a full education. I was instrumental in getting a volunteer group started in my church. We have been sewing items for the hygiene kits and raising awareness of this organization for 3 years. We now have 30 volunteers coming from 6 towns meeting on a monthly basis. We are proud to be a part of this effort and also applaud the organization's effort to teach women to create these products for themselves.
