When I first learned what young ladies in underdeveloped countries used to cope with their menstrual flow, I just couldn't wrap my head around it. I still can't. But now, I sew these wonderful, reusable Days for Girls feminine hygiene kits to help make their lives a little easier, to educate them about their bodies, but best of all, keep them in school to help break the chain of poverty. I'm proud to play a small part in solving a big problem.
