Review for Attention Deficit Disorders Association-Southern Region, Houston, TX, USA
When my son was diagnosed with ADHD 16 years ago, I was directed to ADDA-Southern Region support groups by my son's Pediatric Neurologist to give my husband and me emotional support and for us to learn more about what we could do to help him learn in spite of also being diagnosed with Apraxia of Speech and a Sensory Integration Disorder. He received several years of therapy, but because he received his therapy early in his life and because of the excellent information his father and I learned about helping him to learn in a more hands-on way.

The positive results in this organization I have experienced seeing my son, now 20 years old and not struggling with ADD as he did when he was young. He has learned a lot of coping skills as a result of the information I learned at the conferences.
