As the Director of Little Dog Lifeboat and consultant for other rescues, I can say with conviction that every rescue group needs Doing Right by Rescue. As rescuers, we try to take care in placing dogs with the right family, but new behaviors appear in adopted dogs that we didn't foresee or problems occur in understanding the interactions leading to these problems. Pam brings a bouquet of skills, information, and solutions to the pet problems that arise, patiently and lovingly working out a plan for the adopter and pet. I personally would have had dogs returned if not for her intervention and support.

I run a 501c3 small rescue/hospice. I am 65 and have worked with many fine APDT trainers. Pam is different than any of them. She evaluates and creates a program for the dog that addresses their problems without multiple training appointments. She is an excellent teacher of people..which is the hard part. She has great instincts. Most importantly She understands the challenges of rescue workers and could really change the success rate and way dogs are adopted with her unique ideas for training fosters to use the same language to communicate with dogs. I would recommend her to anyone with a challenging rescue dog, because she has the experience and compassion that other trainers sometimes lack for rescue.
