I volunteered at Mitchell Farm Equine Retirement for 4 years until moving away a couple years ago. The farm combines outstanding management of resources with the highest quality of care for each and every horse. The volunteer staff is well-trained and overseen. I've volunteered at animal care facilities over the years and Mitchell Farm was personally the most rewarding experience due to all the hands-on support and the high caliber of the operation. I miss it!!!
