Review for Multidisciplinary Association For Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), San Jose, CA, USA
My impression of MAPS work is that it is the most encouragingly and scientifically methodical and patient among any drug policy organization. The multi-national approach MAPS is taking with steps toward approved psychedelic research in countries from Canada to Jordan show dedication to progress at large and keep the organization from become too entangled in American politics. However, MAPS should do a better job increasing awareness among the general public. Thankfully, some large media outlets have picked up the stories in the past six or eight months, but more outreach toward mainstream media should be done. I think the media is ready for the message.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my discussions with people I meet, friends and family. MAPS is putting psychedelic use in a light that hasn't existed in over forty years and publicizing it in a way that the public was exposed to the first time around.
